Voting is one of the most powerful ways residents can shape the future of Olathe. Important Dates

Monday, June 2 - Deadline to file as a candidate for all municipal offices.

Tuesday, July 15 - Deadline to register to vote or update your voter registration information to participate in the 2025 primary election.

Wednesday, July 16 - Advanced voting by mail begins for the 2025 primary election.

Tuesday, July 29 - In-person advanced voting begins.

Tuesday, August 5 - Primary election. All advanced ballots by mail must be postmarked by election day and received by Friday, August 8th.

Tuesday, October 14 - Deadline to register to vote or update your voter registration information to participate in the 2025 general election.

Wednesday, October 15 - Advanced voting by mail begins.

Tuesday, October 28 - In-person advanced voting begins.

Tuesday, November 4 - General election. All advanced ballots by mail must be postmarked by election day and received by Friday, November 7 th.
